The Second Global Forum on Space Information for Sustainable Development (GFSISD) aims at the cross-frontier fields of earth system science, social science, economics, and sustainable development, and focuses on deepening applications of spatial information and big data with remote sensing in the fields of responding to global climate change, disaster prevention and mitigation, food security, energy and resources development, environmental protection, biodiversity, health, traffic management, ocean monitoring, and other fields.

This year, the Forum will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China from September 25th to 28th, 2024. The goal of this year’s forum is to explore the role of remote sensing in supporting environmental protection and sustainable development, especially in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay region. We invite authoritative experts and renowned entrepreneurs from around the world to strengthen exchanges and discussions and better promote innovation in related technologies, applications, services, and industries.
